HOUSTON ZOO EXTERIOR STANDARDS / In Progress

Houston Zoo is a landmark destination for thousands of visitors daily as well as an educational and conservation organization. Amenities are essential for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of the visitors.

This project addresses the Zoo central spine, plus other transitional public areas. The goals for the exterior standards are to establish:

• Uniqueness and identity of Houston Zoo

• Visual continuity and consistency

• Environmentally sound and socially responsible approaches

• Quality, safety, durability and maintainability
