CONTROLLED CHAOS
RESIDENCE IN GLENDOWER COURT
(in progress)
The wild landscape creates a contrasting balance to the restored modern house. It reflects the owner’s beliefs in biodiversity for a Xerces garden. Water features and vegetation with nectar and berry plants are to support pollinators, birds and bats. The garden is a regional Texas landscape rooted to the land we live in.
The green roof with native grasses and wildflowers forms its own ecosystem, welcoming critters to nest.
The atrium landscape is a contemplative garden. An inward focus while the spirit of universe resonates and expands.
